Skills: with fail titles...

Stealth: Spirit’s been trained to keep hidden first and foremost, using the element of surprise to gain the preemptive strike. Her movements are smooth, footsteps soft, and she keeps aware of her surroundings with careful precision. Moving slowly allows her to blend into the environment almost perfectly, but the faster she moves the harder it is to keep her stealth.

Surge: Her senses, agility and strength are heightened in short bursts but her defense and magic resistance are lowered in exchange. This allows her to be capable of more powerful leaps and stronger strikes, though it takes a lot of concentration to control so this ability is quite draining if used constantly.

Disarm: By using the her blades, or her own hands, Spirit can lock the opponent’s weapon and twist it out of their grasp. This requires Spirit to be in very close range so she’s vulnerable to practically anything if she fails.

Martial art: Spirit was trained in 2 different forms. One focuses on using the opponent’s strength against him and requires no weapon. Spirit prefers this style. The other is requires more strength and utilizes a variety of light weapons in its forms. Spirit has more difficulty grasping its techniques, though it’s quite effective when executed correctly.

Personality:

To many, their image of Spirit is that she is cold and indifferent towards anything but work, though that is not always the case. The more she gets to know someone, the more she interacts so it's no longer a like a one-way conversation. Once one is well antiquated with her and proves to be a trust-worthy friend, Spirit will be loyal and more supportive.

Her process of thinking is heavily influenced by her experiences as a slave. Stay quiet, obedient, do your job well, and you will be rewarded. This applies mostly to her superiors but to her equals or those below, she will have no qualms about acting however she wants. Spirit does have a strong will and uses the best of her abilities to get things done one way or another.

She knows the basic history and lore of Memoria, but Spirit doesn’t care much for history and government/politics even though she works for the Terhwan Kingdom now. She's also very fond of animals and often talks to them since they cannot judge her.

History:
She dislikes humans for their prejudices and Leiians for their ignorance, perhaps making her the most prejudiced and ignorant. As a child, it wasn't uncommon for her to be bullied by humans due to her race and ridiculed by fellow Leiians for not being able to control magic like others her age but she was loved by her family, which was enough for her.

Her family was poor and over the years had accumulated a large debt. One day, the debt collectors came and threatened the family when they were unable to pay. TO save her family from the collector's threats, Spirit offered herself to be sold as a servant in exchange for paying off the debt. An agreement was made and without a proper farewell, Spirit was immediately taken to be sold.

Her first master was a kind old woman in La’hansi, a human noble, and though Spirit was brought up with the mentality of disliking humans, she grew fond of the woman and did her best to serve her. Spirit was often rewarded generously for her service and had even adopted the nickname “Kivvy”. But her time with the woman didn’t last and barely a year later, the woman died from old age.

Her next master, in Pennute, was not as generous. He was another human, also a noble, and was unkind, brash, and greedy. Spirit had tried her bet to appeal to him but still she was often beaten and ordered to do tough tasks that an eleven year-old should not be doing. And thanks to this man, she had an excuse to hate humans and she withdrew more and more into herself, until one day she finally had enough. It was another round of beatings and taking a shard from a broken vase, she stabbed the man and ran away.

During the following month, Spirit tried to find her way back home but was unsure of the means. She stayed in Pennute and managed to stay alive and get by until she was noticed by Lioh (lay-oh), a Leiian and also the leader of a mercenary clan (part of Khivann's fighter guilds). It took a lot of convincing on Lioh’s part to have Spirit agree to be ‘adopted’ but eventually she accepted, figuring she’d take advantage of his resources to return home one day.

So Spirit was trained under Lioh’s guidance and as Lioh had promised, he brought her back home to Senuv once she was fully trained; however, the house was empty her family wasn’t there anymore. Not giving up, Spirit decided to stay with Lioh’s clan and continues to search for clues about her family or the group of debt collectors.

It was when the Kingdoms were creating the Expedition Teams that Lioh had received a letter, asking for him to be one of their leading officers, but he sent Spirit instead, figuring Spirit could use the experience and the resources offered. Of course, Spirit accepted out of her loyalty to Lioh and after demonstrating her abilities to prove herself worthy of being his replacement, the Kingdom acknowledged her as one of Terhwa’s officers.

Fun Facts:
- Nicknamed “Spirit” because of her lurking habits. It is difficult to notice her if she is purposely hiding.
- Claims that she discarded her real name but she still holds onto it.
- Often hides her animal features so her true feelings cannot be shown by body language (swishing tail, perked ears, etc…)
- Doesn’t like clothes. Which means, yes, she would go about naked if the chance ever appears. She finds them restricting and a hassle.
- Actually is very fond of cuddles/hugs/pats but only from people she likes.
- A good portion of her room is her ‘bed’: a giant nest of soft fabrics and furs she had collected over the years.
- Still can’t harness magic well but is very intrigued by it.
- Her 'tattoos' were there since birth so they’re more like birthmarks.
- “Home” is the clan’s HQ. Spirit has her own room and the building is shared with other clan members, like a dorm.
